From the stack you have to one you can support
We rebuild web and desktop business applications from the technologies below onto a modern, supported stack, with the full automated test suite and a rehearsed data migration.
- PHP 4, 5 and early 7, with or without a framework
- Classic ASP (VBScript)
- ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC on .NET Framework
- Java: JSP, Struts, J2EE and early Spring
- ColdFusion, Perl CGI and Python 2
- Visual Basic 6
- VB.NET and C# WinForms or WPF on .NET Framework
- Delphi and PowerBuilder
- Microsoft Access applications
- Excel and VBA workbooks that run a business process
- Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL stored procedures
- Oracle, including PL/SQL packages
- MySQL and MariaDB
- Microsoft Access and FoxPro data
- Older PostgreSQL versions
What we rebuild onto
We recommend the target in the assessment, to suit your team and hosting. The usual choices:
| Target | Suits |
|---|---|
| TypeScript, Next.js and PostgreSQL | New web applications; the stack of our own platform |
| C# on current .NET, with SQL Server or Azure SQL | Organisations that run on Microsoft |
| Java with Spring Boot | Teams and platforms already built on Java |
| Python | Data-heavy systems and internal tools |
Hosting can be your own servers, or Australian regions of AWS, Microsoft Azure or another provider. Your data can move between database products as part of the rebuild, for example from Oracle or SQL Server to PostgreSQL, with every count reconciled.
How we prove it on your technology
Our published case study is a PHP and MySQL rebuild. For any other technology, the fixed-price pilot rebuilds one real part of your system, with its tests, before you commit to the rest. If the pilot does not convince you, you stop there and keep what was built.
What we do not take on
Mainframe systems (COBOL, CICS, JCL), embedded and real-time software, and systems whose source code is not available. If you are unsure, ask us: we will tell you honestly.
Not sure where your system fits?
Tell us what it runs on. We reply within two business days.
